WTF

Well, I finally have a minute to jot down some thoughts and I have decided that the world is just way to f'ed up. The whole Virginia Tech thing was very sad, but I noticed that on the same front page that blared the news about 33 dead was another story about 172 dead in Iraq. We have become a bit jaded about the war and some how our president...OK THE president, because damn it, I refuse to claim him...still thinks that this is a winnable situation. How can you win someone else's civil war?

I heard Chaney talking smack to the Dems in Congress, about their war funding bill. Isn't DICK the perfect name for this guy? Any who...I guess the Admin forgot the the Repubs LOST the majority and they just cannot get away with anything they want anymore. Well, almost anything, anyways.

And do not start me on that lying sack of crap, Alberto Gonzales? He said "I do not know" or "I do not recall" almost 150 times when he appeared before the Senate Judicial Committee. If he knows so little, how did he become a lawyer? I also heard Bush say that after listening to him testify, he felt more confident about the Attorney General. What...more confident that there is someone around DUMBER that him????

Then, Rudy Giuliani, who I actually liked, said the more irresponsible and untrue statement of his campaign so far. He really believes that if a dem is elected to the White House, we are more vulnerable to a terrorist attack than if a repub was elected. Did he forget so soon that there WAS a repub in the White House at the LAST huge terrorist attack? I lost a lot of respect for him wit that comment. I realize it won Bush the election in 2004, but don't you Americans who voted for him because of that feel really stupid now???

Well, is that enough? It is just a sick, sad world.
